Anna Collins, a resident of Harper Woods, MI, was among more than 3,500 students who graduated from Wayne State University this semester.

Collins received a bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education Elem.

Wayne State's spring 2013 commencement ceremony was held on May 9, 2013, at Ford Field in downtown Detroit.

Founded in 1868, Wayne State University is Michigan's only urban research institution, offering more than 370 academic programs through 13 schools and colleges to nearly 29,000 students.
